Winter WATCH
When using Sweeney’s Pool Service, Inc. you can rest assured that a licensed professional will be servicing your pool. This is so important because it verifies that our technicians are trained the correct way and can handle any situation that comes up. Long Island weather conditions vary from year to year. When it comes to maintaining your pool over the winter season, there are many factors that should be addressed. Whether you have a tarp cover or a safety cover, there are several different maintenance routines that should be followed. When you sign up for the Winter Watch, we will come twice throughout the winter months and make sure your pool is safe and your covers will last.
Cleaning any debris on top of cover
Pumping of excess water in the pool and on top of cover
Adjust spring tension on safety covers so the cover is nice and tight
Add liquid chlorine & winterizing algaecide to sanitize the water (pool opens clearer in the Spring)
Check that water bags are filled to the proper level
Check water level under the cover (if there is a leak in the pool, we can address the matter before damage occurs to the cover and pool)
Filter site is inspected (check that duck tape and plugs are in place to cover the exposed pipe openings)
Once job is completed, the lead mechanic will leave a fully detailed invoice with the customer & answer any questions
